Welcome to Nyadire United Methodist Hospital

Deep within the rural landscape of Zimbabwe, you'll find Nyadire United Methodist Hospital and a small United Methodist mission station.

Founded by Samuel Gurney in 1923, the 240-bed hospital helps to improve the health and quality of life for the people of Nyadire and the surrounding region. It offers healthcare to 500,000 men, women and children within the immediate catchment area and serves approximately 150,000 patients each year.

From AIDS outreach programs and tuberculosis treatment to maternal health clinics and immunizations, the hospital's doctors, nurses and medical technicians struggle daily to meet their patients' needs. Basic medical supplies such as antibiotics, sutures, and blankets for newborn babies are not always available. Nevertheless the staff's spirit is strong, which gives them the ability to provide high quality service.

Please join us in our effort to continue to care for our brothers and sisters in Nyadire, Zimbabwe.
